Concern Worldwide M & E Specialist

Concern Worldwide is an international humanitarian organisation dedicated to elimination of extreme poverty. Currently we have opening for the following position under the Haor Programme. The position is Dhaka based with frequent field visit.
M & E Specialist (Post 01):


The M & E Specialist - Haor Programme is responsible for the quality of the M&E works of the Haor Programme ensuring that it captures the impact, outcomes, outputs and activities of the projects under the programme and to ensure that M&E supports are adequately provided to all projects under Haor Program on M&E, best practices, tools and processes.
Key roles and responsibilities:
  • To ensure that adequate support is provided to planning and designing of existing projects and upcoming projects from M&E perspective;
  • To ensure that haor programme has a  M&E system appropriately set up and functioning effectively;
  • To ensure that the individual projects have appropriate M&E systems and project staff are trained and confident in using the tools;
  • To ensure that the M&E findings and organisational learning of the programme are appropriately documented and disseminated at  different levels;
  • To ensure that the evaluations, researches, feasibility studies, cases studies are appropriately carried out;
  • As a member of the Haor Programme, to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellence within Concern’s work is captured, promoted and disseminated;
  • Contribute to the process of implementing quality programmes by ensure that the HAP standard of accountability is conceptualized and effectively implemented throughout the organization, and at the country programme level
Key Requirements:
  • Master Degree in social science from a recognised University with major in M&E and/or MIS system and/or research related subject;
  • At least 3 years of progressively responsible work experience in the area of M&E in  development organisations;
  • Competent in using computer software particularly spreadsheet such as SPSS and ACCESS and database;
  • Competent in using qualitative data collection tools and technique such as PRA and participatory monitoring and evaluation (PME).
Salary for this position: Taka 34,164/- per month with other regular benefits (negotiable for highly competent candidates)
