Operating across the globe Chevron brings more than 131 years of experience to Bangladesh ensuring safe, reliable, cost-effective and efficient operation in Bangladesh from all its fields since 1999.     Job title Category Specialist Job location Dhaka Job details Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: • Support Category Management activities in BPC and lead project teams for deployment of Supply Chain Management related activities • Assist in preparation of competitive bids, quotations and proposals pertinent to specifications, terms and conditions. Ensures sourcing efforts fully value the Total cost of Ownership • Assist in development and review of specifications, statements of works, performance terms, and acceptance criteria • Support Category Manager in supplier management • Provide market intelligence and studies and establish/ maintain supplier relationships • Work with Procurement Operations and Contract Administration to deliver value added services • Assist in implementation of Annual Contracting and Procurement Plan (ACPP) • Regularly communicate plans and progress to ensure alignment with stakeholder Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in SCM/Business Administration/Engineering/Finance/Economics preferred • 3-5 years of experience is preferred in contracting, negotiating, or buying related experienced • Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and end users • Strong analytical and negotiation skill Last date of application Saturday, March 24, 2012 Apply to Human Resources Chevron Bangladesh Email:recruitment11@chevron.com         If you are interested in this position, please apply via the email address provided above.
