Katrina Halili Confirms Pregnancy!

Katrina Halili, our two-time Nation’s Finest, finally confirmed that she is three months pregnant! Congratulations are in order, aren't they?

“Blessing po ito eh,” reveals Katrina, still visibly startled during her Startalk interview with Ricky Lo last Saturday. “Ito na ang ibinibigay sa akin na bagong chapter sa buhay ko.”
Life and career-altering this may be, it’s still a little bundle of joy now living inside a fine woman’s body. We’re certainly glad she feels that way.


And hey, we heard the StarStruck alumnus is taking her pregnancy really well – no nausea or unreasonable cravings at hand in the first few weeks of pregnancy.
Even friend and , herself a parent, found this little feat unusually amazing. "Gusto ko magluto lang nang magluto, ayaw ko pa-istorbo!” admits the 26-year old actress.

The only down side of this wonderful news is we'll probably be seeing less of Katrina within the next few months. The actress revealed her plans to spend her pregnancy days in her hometown in Palawan, alongside Kris Lawrence, who is the baby daddy.

We’re not even worried about whether she can make a successful showbiz comeback later this year.  We’ve seen her in bigger fiascos before, and she fought and bounced back from it as hard as anyone could. Katrina Halili has earned the right to be indispensable; has done enough to be a showbiz commodity. She’ll be back.

And madam, don’t you even worry about your long-standing babe pedestal within the nation. We’ve always had a soft spot for cover babes turned mom shells. We do not to forget – among all our past FHM 100 Sexiest winners, four have since become gorgeous parents to beautiful kids. This makes Katrina the fifth babe to do so, and we’re still reeling for all five to do another cover for us. That’s how much we love ‘em.

Call it whatever you want – the end of a babe era, the downfall of another babe generation, call it the doomed circle of life and fame for all we care. As true blue fans would agree and suggest, we call it an FHM darling finally growing up. We wish you all the best, Katrina!
