3 accidents tie up morning commute
CHARLESTON,
S.C. (WCIV)-- The South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to three
different accidents on both interstate highways Tuesday
morning.
The first happened around 7:45 a.m. on Interstate 526 eastbound near mile marker 16 in north Charleston.
The second happened just minutes later on Interstate 26 eastbound at mile marker 211 near Eagle Drive.
The third was less than 10 minutes later and just a mile down I-26 eastbound at Midland Park Road.
No injuries are reported in any of the wrecks but traffic was backed up for miles down the highway.
Drivers are asked to use caution when entering the area and avoid onlooker delays.
