Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor
will play a queen in the Hindi remake of the 2009 Telugu blockbuster
ARUNDHATI. ARUNDHATI will mark Kareena's second female centric movie
after signing Madhur Bhandarkar's HEROINE.
The lead role in the original film was played by south star Anushka Shetty and the movie did quite well at the box-office.
Reportedly, Gemini Film Circuit has acquired the rights of the remake.
