Malaika Arora Khan is an early bird!

Apparently, the actress is already booked to perform on New Year's Eve this year, thanks to her popularity as an item girl
Buzz is that Malaika Arora Khan is already booked for several shows including New Year's Eve this year courtesy her popularity as an item girl. And apparently it's raking in the moolah as well. Malla's last item number, Munni Badnaam went on to become a huge rage two years ago and her Anarkali number from an upcoming film is also doing well.

Our source reveals, "On an average she is getting six inquiries in a week. What is quite surprising is that she has also started getting inquiries for New Year's Eve from prestigious clubs. In fact, the organisers are also willing to offer more moolah to woo her. She normally charges Rs 50 to 75 lakh for a show but with this song she is likely to cross the Rs 1 crore mark. Malaika is very thrilled," adding that apparently there is a beeline of event organisers outside her house.

Exclusivity is the key
The actress' manager says, "Malaika is very picky when it comes to doing item numbers and shows and likes to retain her exclusivity. She does one song in three years. She loves to balance her personal life and work." She refuses to comment on the money that the actress is said to be getting and adds, "The shows that she has confirmed so far is Raj Kundra and Sanjay Dutt's mixed martial arts league in Chandigarh and another show in Coimbatore. We are in negotiations with more people."

Mum on moolah
Malaika confirms, "I am super thrilled at the response I am getting for Anarkali. It's a dancer's treat and I am glad that Sajid Khan gave me such a nice number to perform (for an upcoming film)." The actress refused to confirm the money or the shows she is already booked for but she states, "I am getting a lot of inquiries and negotiations are on." The bombshell who didn't perform on New Year's Eve last doesn't mind performing this time around. She says, "The last time I performed on New Year's Eve was two years ago. It was for the Munni song and my family and friends were also there to cheer me up."C;mid-day.com
