Singer Shakira received her Hollywood Walk of Fame star yesterday (Tuesday, November 8) for her achievements and her talent within the music industry. Shakira had her parents there with her as she proudly accepted the honor of receiving her very own star.
Shakira becomes the first ever Colombian to receive a Hollywood Walk of Fame star but she is certainly someone who deserves it.
Shakira has been one of the best role models that the
entertainment industry has ever had and she continues to shine in every
walk of life.
It has been a great 2011 for Shakira, as it was announced last month, that she would be awarded with the Latin Grammy Person of the Year Award. Shakira has President Barack Obama’s Advisory Commission on Educational Excellence for Hispanics. Congratulations Shakira, you deserve it.
