Chris Hemsworth discusses what we can expect from Thor 2

With press commitments on The Avengers finally drawing to a close, it's time for the respective cast members to start looking forward to their individual projects. Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the hit movie, has been sharing a few thoughts on what we can expect from Thor 2.Chris Hemsworth

Speaking to MTV, the Thor 2 star, who has just becaome a father for the first time, explained why Loki will always keep coming back for more, and why Thor will keep letting him – suggesting that Tom Hiddleston‘s trickster god will be a major part of the second film.

Chris revealed: “It’s what I loved about the comics. It was never clean and cut and that’s it. It was always like, Thor would forgive him, they’d be friends, and Loki would betray him again. ‘You idiot, Thor! Again?’ But it was different than your normal good guy, bad guy scenario. They’re brothers, you know? Anyone with siblings understands that. ‘That’s it, I’m never talking to you again… want to play football?’”

The dynamic between Thor and Loki will be particularly intriguing, with Loki having betrayed his brother time and again, only for Thor to repeatedly foil his plans.

As for whether the two will be able to get back on an even keel in the sequel, Chris remains uncertain. "He’s got to apologize, doesn’t he?" says the star. "Baked goods. Muffins or something. That would be a bribe we could start with. Beyond that, I don’t know."

Thor 2 will open in the US on 15 November 2013, with a UK release date yet to be confirmed.
